HOPE MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

Program overview

The mentorship Program is designed to provide guidance, support, personal and professional development through intentional mentor-mentee relationships for children in foster care system. It aims to help participants grow in their skills, character, and confidence while fostering a culture of learning and community.

Objectives

To Provide mentees with guidance and support in personal, spiritual, and career development.

To build leadership, communication, and problem- solving skills.

To foster accountability, encouragement, and goal setting.

To create a safe and supportive environment for growth.

Structure

Duration: 6 months -renewable based on progress.

Meeting frequency-Bi-weekly (in-person or virtual).

Format: One-on-one sessions, group workshops and check-ins.

Commitment: 4-8 hours a month.

Roles & Responsibilities

Mentor

Provide guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback.

Share personal experiences, lessons, and resources.

Help mentee set realistic goals and track progress.

Serve as a role model in character and professionalism.

Mentee

Be open to feedback and willing to learn.

Set personal and professional development goals.

Be consistent and respectful of mentor’s time.

Take responsibility for applying lesson learned.
